As it says on the
Ez-Architect interior design page, you use the top views in the
Ez-Architect Home and Office Library to create a top view of any room, then use the elevation views of the same objects (side views: left, right, front, back), along with the template.aad file in the Templates folder, to create a perspective ("2 and a half D") view of the same room.
Once you get the product's ZIP file by buying it, extract the Ez-Architect-Home-and-Office-Library.zip to your Program Files at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Infinisys\Ez-Architect 4\Library
Top/left/right/front/back quintuplets
Objects arranged into groups of top/left/right/front/back quintuplets give a near-3D perspective on a room that is better than either 2D floor plans or 2D side views ("elevations") because one gets a feel for BOTH top view and side view perspectives on a floor plan at the same time. We call these perspective views “two and a half D” because they use objects that show perspective. Most of the folders that accompany the
Ez-Architect Home and Office Library are comprised of these quintuplet-grouped “two and a half D” objects.
You'll find that the combination of
Ez-Architect (XP or Vista) and the
Ez-Architect Home and Office Library together will be the next best thing if you don't want to spring for a 3D application. Some people visualize living space best with either 3D or “two and a half D” because they use objects that show perspective. However, a lot of our customers just want the simplicity of a 2D architectural design program. By use of both Ez-Architect and our Ez-Architect Home and Office Library, you get both the simplicity of 2D and the dynamics of a perspective view of your plan.
